Races
Hello, everyone, and welcome to the first of Halna's Homebrew Compendium's (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=187561) Nomination thread! This week, we'll be doing Races, the building blocks of characters. This is not a homebrew contest in the traditional sense- races aren't being made for this thread, rather races from other homebrews-whether they be individual or inside of other projects- and then, the Playground votes! In one week from now, on Sunday, Februrary 27th, at 3pm EST (GMT-5), this thread closes and the voting thread opens.
The rules for the Voting thread are different than from this thread. The rules of this thread are as follows:
Each person may nominate up to three(3) homebrews. I don't want the same person spamming 300 homebrews.
After each homebrew is nominated, it automatically gets into the Voting thread.
Think carefully about your choice of homebrews! This week's theme is simple, but other weeks may not be. Make sure it fits into the theme of the week!
There are two kinds of awards given out at HHC- "Best Homebrew of the Week" award, which is awarded to first, second, and third place winners, and is given out to the 'brews with the most votes. The other award is the "Judge's Panel Pick" which is given out to the most balanced and playable of the homebrews.
A homebrew may come from any source. However, if the homebrew is within another contest or larger project, please link the post and specify what you are nominating.
A homebrew that has already won a different contest shouldn't be nominated here. I'm reluctant to ban it outright, though I may in the future.
Any other rules are in here:
Withdrawing a nomination
If you wish to withdraw a nomination, then please delete your post and make a new post stating that you withdrew your nomination.
Some additional stuff
As it is, right now, I don't actually have a Judge's Panel. If someone could make banners or somesuch, that would be awesome. And, there's other artsy stuff I need, so if you have any ideas, please PM me.
