Help with starship floor plans

hi all i'm looking to design a ship i have some of the basics done and an idea for shape but i'm unsure how to put together a floor plan of the inside, can someone help me out?

Well, firstly, what tech are you using? Starcraft, Star Wars, Star Trek, Star whatever, etc... That'll help. Give us some more info about what you want.

d20 future i was hoping to use a more of a firefly / serenity kinda feel to it as the tech is pretty low no matter what system you use this way you can move around, but with a more clean feel to it so something along the lines of...... d20 future PL7 -> 8
