I'm not sure. I believe it includes all forms of sticky pastry, like apple fritters, cinnamon buns, and whatnot.

You appear to be correct (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sticky_bun), although the article refers mostly to pastries that have their topping at the bottom of the pan during baking, and are then flipped. Also, happy birthday. :smallsmile:

Thanks, guys. Although I didn't, nor have I ever had, sticky buns on the 21st. The closest I came was a muffin, which is neither sticky nor a bun.

This restaurant in my town has seats right next to the kitchen doors with a big, hard to read mural on the wall that says you can get a free one for having to put up with the injustice of sitting there. Its great!
