I asked my gm if my characters can use a gun he said sure but only if its flintlock I was wondering should I be carrying a charge pouch and some lead bullets or do I only need the bullets?

Ask your DM?

Anyway, you'll probably need powder. Also, I'd consider carrying several, pre-loaded guns. Brace of pistols is nice.

Do what the Pirates did.

4-6on your belt, 3-5in your jacket, and 3-4 more on his extremities. Combine this with the fact a gun should take either a 'Full-Round Action' or a 'Standard and Move Action'

Were guns ever actually included in any published WotC material? If so, where? I would love to see!

They have them in the DMG. There's old style guns, modern guns and laser guns.

I don't believe so I could very well be forgetting something.

Ahh, modern, yes... I was more interested in the 'fantasy' settings/time periods; I'd love to see some guns from, say, Eberron or something.

The guns from the Ptolus setting are pretty cool! I'll see if I can track them down!!!

Ok we agreeed guns are cool in every setting now we need to combine them with swords and crossbows.

There's rules for flintlock (or at least flintlock-like) guns in both Iron Kingdoms and the Pathfinder setting. The ones in IK are breach-loaders, the bullets are actually a lead ball and two small pouches of powder, all wrapped in a cloth bundle. The trigger causes the hammer (or whatever it'd be called) to breach the two powder pouches, the powders react and ignite, burning away the cloth and propelling the bullet.

The guns in Gollarion (the Pathfinder setting) are normal muzzle-loaders, I think.

If I say "Salt Sniper", does that ring anyone's bells in here? Picked up on a similiar writing style along the way.
