I'm not used to planning out characters as a player, because I usually DM. Right now, my current character is a level 3 Human Conjurer (Specialist wizard) with Necromancy and Enchantment as barred schools. At my next level, I'm going to go into the Master specialist PrC, and take all ten levels of that. Assuming that the game lasts that long, what's another good option when she hits level 14? I want to plan in advance so I can build toward requirments.

At least a couple levels of Archmage would be solid. Its High Arcana ability is pretty awesome, particularly Arcane Reach, which turns touch-range spells into close range.

As mentioned, Archmage is the generally preferred path to take after Master Specialist. Malconvoker (CSco) is quite nice, though you do lose one caster level. Even so, being able to extend the duration of your summons, strengthening them even further and getting more out of each summon is worth the one level though.

I'm aware of archmage, and it's an obvious choice, but I was interested in finding something a bit less usual. I'll look into Malconvoker.
