This is a work in progress. I'm looking for feedback on what's existing, and ideas for class abilities at 1st, 5th, 7th, and 9th level that are all missing from the descriptions and the table. In addition, the table at the end is only completed for those of Chaotic Evil alignment, so if anyone has any ideas for that as well that would be greatly appreciated.

-------------------
Vulgar Enchantment
Any instrument can be enchanted with Vulgar. Any Vulgar weapon upon being played deals 1d8 Sonic damage in a 10 foot line. While everyone nearby can hear the notes, the damage is only done to those directly in front of the instrument. There are also variations to the enchantment.

Any vulgar instrument has it's sound modified. A typical vulgar instrument (such as a guitar) sounds something Akin to typical "modern" music of it's kind (for Guitar, something Akin to standard Rock n' Roll). Each variation to the enchantment changes it's sound accordingly.

(Table of Variations are a WIP).

Ostentatious Musician
15 Level Prestige Class

Description: A new form of music within this word has been slowly emerging. Seen within visions and dreams of the future, few chosen visionaries have sought to master this form, bringing the future to the present time. The first to have seen these visions hired a powerful wizard to create an instrument which would shake the world to it's core; and as such the "Vulgar" enchantment was born. Now more follow in this man's wake, attempting to reach the nirvana of melody that he had razed the path to.

These musicians forsake the lore and lyrical qualities of typical bardic song in favor of a more melodic focus in music.

Vulgar Specialization – At 1st level, an Ostentatious Musician gains specialization with the “Vulgar” enchantment. Whereas the Vulgar enchantment typically only deals 1d8 (subject to change, see Hombrew), the Ostentatious Musician deals 1d8 damage per class level.

1st

1st

Powerslide – At 3rd level, an Ostentatious Musician with ranks in Perform (Dance) can roll a DC 15 Perform (Dance) check to Powerslide once per round which replaces his five foot step, moving ten instead. If the DC is missed by 5 or less, then the Ostentatious Musician takes a standard five foot step instead. If the DC is missed by more than 5, the Ostentatious Musician falls prone and any Bardic Music that he was playing is cut short.

Screamo – At 3rd level, the Ostentatious Musician as a standard action may consume one use of Bardic Music to scream, dealing sonic damage in 15 foot cone to all enemies. This deals 1d6 per level of Ostentatious Musician. Enemies affected must also make a Fortitude Save as if this were cast as the highest spell level available to the Ostentatious Musician in order to avoid being stunned for 1d4 rounds.

5th

7th

9th

Gifts of Splendor – At 11th level, the Ostentatious Musician begins to gain fans. For each level including and beyond 11th, the Ostentatious Musician may make a perform check in any populated area to gain a free item or monetary reward once per day per city. Rewards scale based on level, left up to DM’s discursions. Maximum reward at 15th level is a Medium Wondrous Item.

Inspire Slaughter – Beginning at 13th Level, an Ostentatious Musician may apply a use of his Bardic Music to any Vulgar Attack. Doing so expends one charge of Bardic Music. In addition, Bardic Music can be sustained while making Vulgar attacks. Any Spellcasting or other actions beyond Vulgar attacks and/or sustaining the Bardic Music begins the five round countdown.

I’m With the Band – At 15th level, the Ostentatious Musician once per day gets the ability to open a portal to another plane, summoning a number of allies equal to his charisma modifier (Maximum 3) for 1d4 + Cha rounds. Consult the table for exact details.

I'll only do this the once, but erm... Bump? I definitely need some advice on how to finish this. I know it's not a serious RP class, but I do still want to play-test it when it finishes.
