Since Elan's had his news clothes for quite a while, will Nale switch his garb as well to keep up with the evil opposites theme? Maybe he'll dress up as Kefka next time we see him.

It turns out he already has. Tarquin is just Nale using Disguise Self.

Nale's fed up with the Evil Opposites theme.

Although I suspect that Nale will have an art upgrade, I'm afraid I can't offer an opinion on "Kefka" because I don't know what it is. :smallwink:

He was a Hungarian writer. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kafka)

(Also, I think he tried to become the God of Magic and destroy the world at some point.)

What, this guy? (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kefka_Palazzo)

Nale might have issues with the makeup.

Since Elan didn't stick with the Locke wig, it follows that Nale looks the same except for his face, which now has Kefka make-up (I forgot Kefka was a blonde, so it all works out).

But seriously, I think he will, but not necessarily a mirror of Elan's outfit. At the very least, I'm 99% sure he will have a new pair of shoes, since having visible shoes became the standard for humans (see: Girard and the Lawyers, who had stick feet before the current book).

Nale is 1/3rd caster...

Sorry, I meant non-robed (since Girard is also a caster).
EDIT: And I just realized Miron, that other person in Tarquin's crew, and Tyrinar have/had visible shoes, so it seems like it has simply become a standard for human characters.

Nale is sick of the Evil Opposites theme, he's not even bothering to make mirrors of anyone anymore (I think). But he may have a pair of shoes, and may have changed his clothes. Do you think he still has them? The last time they were seen was in a hotel he never went back to, and left wearing other clothes, and the hotel was then destroyed by hobgoblins. But I don't know.

Nale was last seen (back in 2007) heading for the Western continent, where the characters are now. I assume he'll reappear after the Empire of Blood side plot that we've so tediously been following. Note: his last words were to complain about not getting enough screen time as a villain, Xykon is currently out of the picture, and after OOTS (finally) leaves EoB, there won't be any antagonists around. I say he reappears as soon as the quest for the gates resumes.

And of course he gets an art upgrade. Probably some surprise new powers, too. He's Elan's rival and Elan has been gaining levels and developing character like crazy recently.

That's too cliche and obvious for this comic makes complete sense!

Impossible - Disguise Self doesn't do a thing to improve your Int score.

Nale is intelligent, though. It's wisdom where his plans fail.

Definitely, he's not weak, slow, frail, dumb, or uncharismatic, so that means he must be shortsighted. According to dnd rules.:smallwink:

I always thought Nale may be slightly above average in Int, but he's not nearly as smart as he thinks he is.
