I will be playing in a mid-low optimization game, but I rather dislike most of the tier 3-4 classes. So, what I would like to do is build a Wizard that dabbles in many roles rather than specializing. I would like to be a gish that can function as a Batman-lite. I will post my spell list any I would greatly apreicate any siggestions, I will put in bold the spells I definately want to keep. This is the character. (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showpost.php?p=10218734&postcount=39) The only difference is that I have exchanged 2 levels of Warblade for 2 levels of JPM, getting me a CL of 17 rather than 16.
I am a Focused Specialist Transmuter banning Evocation, Echantment, and Necromancy.
LEVEL 1 18 Int+2 Racial = 20 Int = 5 bonus level 1 spells.
Ectoplasmic Armor: Gain armor bonus against incorporeal touch attacks.
Enlarge Person: Humanoid creature doubles in size.
Feather Fall: Objects or creatures fall slowly.
Fist of Stone: Gain +6 Str and natural slam attack.
Nerveskitter: Subject gains +5 bonus on initiative checks.
Shield: Invisible disc gives +4 to AC, blocks magic missiles.
Silent Image: Creates minor illusion of your design.
True Strike: +20 on your next attack roll.
Expeditious Retreat, Swift: Your speed increases by 30 ft. for 1 round.
Protection from Evil: +2 to AC and saves, counter mind control
LEVEL 2
Mirror Image: Creates decoy duplicates of you (1d4 +1 per three levels, max 8).
Wraithstrike: Your melee attacks strike as touch attacks for 1 round.
Alter Self: Assume form of a similar creature.
Web: Fills 20-ft.-radius spread with sticky spiderwebs.
LEVEL 3
Displacement: Attacks miss subject 50%.
Haste: One creature/level moves faster, +1 on attack rolls, AC, and Reflex saves.
Dispel Magic: Cancels magical spells and effects.
Protection from Energy: Absorb 12 points/level of damage from one kind of energy.
LEVEL 4
Evard’s Black Tentacles: Tentacles grapple all within 15 ft. spread.
Polymorph: Gives one willing subject a new form.
Mirror Image, Greater: As mirror image, but gain an additional image each round.
Solid Fog: Blocks vision and slows movement.
LEVEL 5
Draconic Polymorph: You change into a dragon’s form.
Teleport: Instantly transports you as far as 100 miles/level.
Break Enchantment: Frees subjects from enchantment/alteration/curses/petrification.
Summon Monster IV: Calls extraplanar creature to fight for you.
LEVEL 6
Brilliant Blade: Weapon or projectiles shed light, ignore armor.
Resistance, Superior: Subject gains +6 on saving throws.
Acid Fog: Fog deals acid damage.
Summon Monster VI: Calls extraplanar creature to fight for you.

Elemental Body: You take on the qualities of a type of elemental.

I will also be using (Greater) Luminous Armor. From what I read, I can prepare it without actually choosing to learn ir or scribe it into my spellbook. Is this correct?
I would also like to receive some clarification of Polymorph+Buff Spells. Specifically Elemental Body; it doesn't actually transform me, but it grants me bonuses and immunities. Do I keep these while polymorphed?
