People clamor that the Spell to Power Erudite (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/psm/20070629a) is uber, but I've never seen one work in practice. In a campaign, there are practical limits to your resources, like time, money, and XP. Also, the unique powers(/level)/day is a bummer, but can be circumnavigated with the proper preparations.
