After months of sadness and fumbling to try and find gainful employment, I have obtained a paid internship with the Dakota County Historical Society. I will be doing work largely similar to cataloguing work I did at my college's library, and I'll be paid through Goodwill's Easter Seals program. This is probably some of the best news I've had in a year! I'm so happy!

Thank you, thank you! And as if my life couldn't get more awesome, my first day of work is next Tuesday...the same day I get Dragon Age II! I know JUST what I'm gonna do to celebrate my first day of work!

Well, the bad news is, my copy of Dragon Age II hasn't arrived yet. Darn postal service. :smallyuk:

But the good news is, my internship is awesome! It's got great hours, enough variation and social interaction to keep me from getting bored (which has cost me jobs in the past), and it'll last all through the summer, something that has both me and my mother very happy. And it's all paid too. Now I just need to get my driver's license and my real-world experience will finally equal the theoretical experience of my college degree.
