Uncanny Forethought from Exemplars of Evil? Helps you get a lot more mileage out of Spell Mastery

Hi felagund,

you might want to take your first metamagic feats. To propose one, it would be helpful to know which sourcebooks you have access to.

Generally, you can only do so much via feats, powerwise. To gain more power than the Wizard class already grants, you should take a PrC. Which depends on how much power your DM is comfortable with: Incantatrix (Players Guide to Faerun) is considered too strong by many DMs, with classes like Master Specialist (Complete Mage) about right.

Chosing a PrC will also help your feat choice, as most PrCs have feats as prerequisites you have to fulfill.

Spontaneous Divination (Complete Champion) is an ACF befitting a scholar type of character. While its not exactly a feat, its an ability that you can get by trading out your 5th level wizard bonus feat.

Of course, check to make sure you have any PrC prerequisites in order.
