1 scroll of expiditious retreat
2 scrolls true strike
Total 75 gp.

Any Reactionaries?

By the way, I'm unfamiliar with ToB stuff, so you'll have to explain it as we go along.

No problem with the explaining, it's mostly stuff I need to keep track of.

Pierce Stabb - Round 1

Start in B11, with a loaded sling in one hand and my shuriken in the other. A potion is tucked into my belt and my two shortswords are in sheaths on my belt. My belt also holds 3 filled belt pouches.

Standard Action: Fire sling at Chuck Norris
[roll0] (takes into account range penalties)
[roll1]

Just to let you know, it takes 35 ft of movement to get to G14. You can, however, go to F14 or G13 in 30 ft. of move, where'll you'll still have total cover against me.

Meanwhile:

Actually it only takes 30 ft to get to G14. 20 feet to move diagonally to E14 and then 10 feet to get to G14.

After some thought I believe I-15 has cover against S-6.

Chuck has no hope of making the spot check.
Edit Stamp: :roach:

Chuck (S-6) cast a spell from a scroll.

Chuck Norris - Round 3

Refs/LoS

Move to J-2 for move action.

Need LoS to proceed.

@Refs:Chuck Listen (in case): [roll0]

Question for Refs: The way I see it, LOS has existed for Pierce for the entire turn, so the trigger of "gaining LOS" won't happen. You can't gain LOS if you already have it.

I'm also seeing No cover or concealment for G13 from J2, but I'd like ref opinion on this before I make a possible error.

LOS coming.

EDIT: In the future, posting these requests in the waiting room will speed up the time for the check.

Sallera
2011-03-14, 11:18 PM
candycorn:First sounds right. I believe the posts are considered to occupy their entire squares for LoS purposes, however, so cover still exists.

Chess435
2011-03-16, 10:03 AM
Any LoS yet?

candycorn
2011-03-16, 01:19 PM
LOS.

Refs:Per Sallera ruling, Cover exists for Pierce, so Chuck cannot see. (-5 spot mod vs Hide 22).

Pierce:You have LOS at the end of your turn to Chuck in S6. During his turn, he moves to J2.

Ready action does not trigger. (this was one thing verified, and reasoning for this was agreed by high ref)

Chuck:No LOS.

Chess435

Rest of Turn:

Refs/LoS:

Standard: Ready an action
Shoot if I gain LoS to pierce

candycorn
2011-03-16, 02:09 PM
@Refs:Blarg

LOS.

@Pierce:Chuck readies an action in J2.

@Chuck:No LOS.

Pierce succumbs to the pretty lights, and Chuck takes the victory.
