Ok, just know I'm not familiar with mounted combat. I might make a mistake before I read more on the subject...

Technically its a little tree that only gives the AC bonus to creatures in the same square.

Dare - Round 2
Free: Continue singing. Verse two is suspiciously similar to verse one.

Move: stow scroll.
Ride to C5/D6.
Free: Swap welded club for a javelin.
Swift: Activate Law Devotion, set bonus to Attack.

Yes, the squares are vague with a corner of water at a time. Would I be able to jump it at different points? Such as a 5ft leap, 10ft leap and 5ft leap? It seems there should be a solid piece of land in the middle of the area between us. If not I'll change my plan of action

If a square is ~1/2 land or more, you can stand on it. You can jump during a charge, but in this case, the closest square you can attack from (L5) is in the river, so it wouldn't satisfy the straight line requirement.

Wait, did Dare take his Round 4 before me? I thought he was at E5. Even if that second round he took was legible, he failed his ride checks so wouldn't he still be in E5?

Dare's latest turn should be labeled 4, but the count is correct. The Ride check was to make mounting a free action; failing it only meant mounting was a move action, and failing the other has no consequence.

I believe that now I'd have a line of sight to Psionic. I think, since he's 12 squares up and 2 squares... I'd go up 5, diagonal 1, up 5 and diagonal once again, leaving me at J3 diagonal to him and, givin the angle I was running, wouldn't that charge be valid?

Assuming that means Rumel ended turn out of LoS and was last seen leaving S9...

Dare - Round 6
Casting complete, a 10ft radius burst of drowsiness erupts from, oh, the S10/T11 intersection. (if above assumptions are incorrect target intersection may actually be elsewhere.)
Anyone within 10ft of burst point needs to make a DC 11 will save.

Next, assuming the Round 5 4 javelin hit...

Ride to P8/Q9 and see if any orcs still stand...

LoS = Line of Sight

A spoiler labeled 'LoS' basically says "if you see me go ahead and read, otherwise no peaking"

It rarely comes up on glass/river maps, but is commonly used on other maps where gladiators don't see each other at the start.

By extension a 'LoS check' is a request for a ref to examine the situation and tell the players if they see their opponents anywhere.
