Well, I've got a game tomorrow, and I wanted some thoughts on the build I'm currently throwing around.

I'm an orc, and rolled well. My rolls were 17, 16, 14, 14, 12, and 10, and I'm playing a charger at level 6.

My current build is Lion Spirit Whirling Frenzy Barbarian 1/Fighter 4/Orc Paragon 1. I am obviously maxing jump, and my feats are: Power Attack, Improved Bull Rush, Leap Attack, and Shock Trooper, and I have one to blow, and I was thinking maybe extra rage. My stat setup is 22 STR, 16 Dex, 14 Con, 12 Int, 10 Wis, and 8 Cha. So, what feats/items/skills would be useful? Did I do something wrong?

I'd start out with only two Fighter levels and all three Orc Paragon levels.

Use the Whirling Frenzy (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/classes/classFeatureVariants.htm#rageVariantWhirlingFrenzy ) rage variant.

Are you using Water Orc? If not, it looks like you turned one of your 14's into a 16.

You miscounted your feats, you should have six total: 1, 3, 6, and Fighter 1, 2, and 4. Leap Attack can't be taken as a Fighter bonus feat and you need a +6 BAB to get Shock Trooper. You'll have to rearrange your class level order to get a Fighter feat at 6th for Shock Trooper so you can spend your 6th level general feat on Leap Attack. You can still change it to Barbarian 1/ Orc Paragon 3/ Fighter 2 and get all those feats plus Extra Rage.

Really? Okay, I can see that.

I am, as I said, "Lion Spirit Whirling Frenzy."

So I did. I thought all Orcs had +2 Con.

Again, so I did. Thank you. Is Extra Rage the best option, by the way, or is there something better?

EDIT: What good magic items are there, more specific than the obvious +x Bigger BFS?

I guess I missed that you're already using Whirling Frenzy, sorry about that.

I'm pretty sure Extra Rage is the bee's knees. Item Familiar (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/magic/itemFamiliars.htm) is downright broken and should be considered for every character, same goes for Wild Cohort (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/re/20031118a) as long as you get Handle Animal as a class skill. Maybe Cleave, maybe stick with Fighter 4 and get EWP and Weapon Focus to take Exotic Weapon Master. In that case, pick a one-handed exotic weapon to get Uncanny Blow and get double your Str bonus to damage. If you get four Fighter levels you may as well use the Zhentarim Soldier (http://wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/we/20060327a) substitution level for 3rd. That could actually be preferable to taking all three Orc Paragon since you'll be so much better at Intimidate. In that case, get Imperious Command from Drow of the Underdark and take the Never Outnumbered skill trick in Complete Scoundrel. Keep taking more Fighter until you get the Zhentarim Soldier 9 sub level, which is just amazing with Imperious Command.

Also be sure to trade Ride for Tumble (http://wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/we/20070228a) as a class skill and get max ranks.

Note the Headlong Rush feat. It's Orc only and doubles charge damage, but you provoke attacks of opportunity more. It can be found online from an official article.

Battle Jump allows you to turn dropping down onf someone from at least 5 feet above them into a charge that deals double damage.

Leaping Dragon Stance is a Tiger Claw discipline that gives a +10 FOOT bonus to jumps. Including ones straight up.

Sudden Leap is another Tiger Claw maneuver that allows you to jump as a swift action.

Neraph Charge allows you to make a single charge against any opponent once per encounter and makes them flatfooted against that charge.

Iajitsu Focus allows you to make an attack (or attacks, with Pounce) against a flatfooted enemy with a weapon that you've just drawn (Quick Draw helps with that) that deals bonus damage based on your skill check.

Emerald Razor allows you to make a single attack against an enemy as a touch attack.

Since you already have pounce, I won't bother you with it. Same with Leap Attack and Shock Trooper.

Get a Valorous weapon.

SO. You jump into the air with your +10 foot bonus and the rest of your pumped up Jump as a swift action with Sudden Leap out of Leaping Dragon Stance. You then make a Neraph Charge, allowing you to make your enemy flatfooted, allowing you to make an Iajitsu Focus check. Since you jumped, you also qualify for the multiplier from Leap Attack. Since it's a charge, your Pounce ability will enable you to make a full attack against a flatfooted opponent. Another alternative is using Emerald Razor. Then, you're making a touch attack against a flatfooted opponent. If there's anything that makes it easier to hit someone without using spells, I don't know what it is. Headlong Rush will double your charge damage. Grab Karmic Strike and you can do the same with the AOOs you'd trigger. FINALLY. The last piece to this wonderful puzzle is Battle Jump. That'd make all of your attacks triple damage before you get the valorous weapon. That'd boost you up to quadruple damage.

Now, if you REALLY wanted to be cheesy, either make it a half-raptoran with the wings or find a way to get the Dragon Wings feat and use the diving charge with a piercing weapon and you'd get quintuple damage.

Also note that just the other day we collected about a dozen ways to foil a charger (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showpost.php?p=10475251&postcount=71) over in the other thread.

I really like some of the White Raven charging strikes in conjunction with the various charging/power attacking damage boosting tactics.

It might not be what you had in mind, but I always liked the Paladin's alternate class feature from the PHB2, the one that triples Smite damage on a successful charge.
