Spontaneous Divination is an Alternative Class Feature for the wizard class that you exchange for the metamagic bonus feat you would normally get at 5th level. It grants you the ability to spontaneously use a spell slot with a prepared spell to instead cast any divination spell that you know of equal or lesser level.

It depends on wether or not you use the errata. The unerrata'd version allows you to cast divination spells you don't know.

(Errata found here (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/errata))

As an ACF, I'm sure the only requirement is the loss of the feat at 5th level.

Huh, good to know. I never spotted the errata for that before. Makes it significantly less broken (the original version didn't say that the spell had to be from your class list - it could be literally any Divination spell of appropriate level).
