Ultimate Magus (Complete Mage)
"Augmented Casting" class feature allows you to spend spell slots from one arcane casting class to add metamagics to another.

Metamagic Song Feat (Races of Stone)
Spend bardic music uses to apply metamagics to spontaneously cast spells for free.

Additional feats and class features that go along with methods already mentioned:

Divine Metamagic- Feat: Extra Turning (or Undeath Domain) Items: Nightsticks, from Libris Mortis

Metamagic School Focus- Take transmutation as a specialty school, and the ACF in Unearthed Arcana that lets you treat a certain number of spells from any school as transmutation spells, diversifying the spells that you can reduce the metamagic costs for.

It's semi third party, but the ambient tempest prestige class from the Dragonlance setting (I think it is in the monster book) has some excellent metamagic reducing abilities for sorcerers.

Illumian Word Naenhoon gives you an effective DMM twice per day.

Not actually a reducer, but the Sudden Metamagic feats allow you to cast a spell with a particular MM 1/day with no level increase.
