3.5 -- Arcane Prep, alternatives?

Other than Arcane Prep, is there any Feat thats like this?

I know learned metamagic is 3.0, any that are 3.5?

Do you want to actually prepare spells? Or do you just want to be able to apply metamagic without the annoying cast time increase? Because for Sorcerer's, there is an ACF in the PHBII, and for everyone else, there's the Rapid Metamagic feat in Complete Arcane.

If you need to qualify as a prepared caster for some reason (MotAO or similar), then Arcane Prep is pretty much your only bet as far as I know.

Oh okay im sorry, forgot to add.

Incantrix lvl 7 ability. - Instant metamagic, If u prepare a spell there's no cost for the spell slots. And sorcs have some amazing sorc only spells.

iirc everything on the Wizard list is available to Sorcerers.....

Few things in Races of Dragons. eg, Wings of Flurry, Wings of Cover, Few of the Manifest Dragon H spells.

mostly any "dragon book" even Dragon Compendium

Arcane Spellsurge, Wings of Cover and Wings of Flurry come to mind.

There's some really nice Sorcerer-only spells.

Oh yes, and there are a few Wizard-only spells: Mage's Lucubration (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/magesLucubration.htm) and Mnemonic Enhancer (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/mnemonicEnhancer.htm) are Core, even.
