Link to the Magic Jar trick? [3.5]

I know I've seen a relatively easy RAW legal way to make Magic Jar permanent, but my Google-fu is failing me at the moment. Could someone link to or describe the method, please?

I don't personally agree with that interpertation, but it's somewhat nebulous and trying the trick would generally result in getting a DMG thrown at you in a real game, so eh.
