The feat Burrowing Power (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/psionic/psionicFeats.htm) specifies that walls without hardness (like a wall of ectoplasm) are treated as if they had hardness 20 to breach. However, a Wall of Ectoplasm (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/psionic/powers/wallofEctoplasm.htm) has hardness 5. Is this just them goofing up as usual?

In a related question, does Psionics actually have access to an effect that mimics Wall of Force? It feels like Spellcasting has a monopoly on impermeable barriers, but maybe I'm missing something.

It's them goofing up. I think Psionics has a Psionic Wall of Force in Complete Psionics, but I could be wrong.

I think this was WoTC trying to make Psionics more balanced than Arcane casting, simply by not giving them a smattering of the more problem spells.

Of course, it was all unraveled by the other Powers they gave them, but what the hey, I still prefer Psionics over Arcane.
