I've been reading Order of the Stick regularly for a while now, and I've particularly enjoyed it. However, one purely technical thing which I am unhappy with is that there is no link to the last page of the comic (that I could find). Which means that I can't bookmark the "last" page and just check it for updates. This, while only mildly annoying, is consistently annoying. Is there a solution that I've missed, and if not, are there downsides to implementing one?

Bookmark http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots.html (linked by the scroll at the top of each comic) and if there's a comic you haven't seen yet at the top of the list, click on it. Alternately, bookmark any page on the entire GiantITP site, and check the sidebar to see if the current comic is new.

http://www.giantitp.com/comics/ootslatest.html will take you to the latest comic, but I don't know how you'd figure that out just by looking at the site.

@shale: That's what I've been doing so far. It works but that doesn't mean I have to like it...

@KillanHawkeye: Thanks! This was exactly what I was looking for.

I come here to read the forums even if there isn't a new comic up, so I just go to the homepage and if there's a new comic click on the link.

You could also do the RSS feed which will allow you to check for a comic without actually coming to the site. When you come to a site, it has to check and download images. It can be a time saver but the downside is that the RSS feed is usually one half to a full day behind when new comic actually appears.

Wow Killian!!!

I've been wanting something like that link forever. This should be a sticky.

http://www.giantitp.com/cgi-bin/GiantITP/ootscript will also take you to the last page.

How to find out? There's a link To Most Recent Strip (http://www.giantitp.com/cgi-bin/GiantITP/ootscript) on the Cast Page (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/ootscast.html)

This comic is about the ramblings of the gladiator trainer (?) saying that someone will steal bread (Belkar), someone will try to defend him (the one Belkar just killed) and revenge will be gotten. I think it's reversed now, though, seeing as the "weaker gladiator" should have been killed first. My doubt also lies with the other one having any chance of defeating Belkar at all. However, I think it's funny that the Giant even bothered to let it come to this. I doubt he's not going to at least have Belkar fight the other guy, why else have the plot point towards it?

Either way, that's not how he's going to die.

Wow. That is what I call a non sequitur. Wrong thread?
