Got any recommendations for good vampire-ish music to listen to while gaming or writing or whatever? I'm not talking about Marylin Manson or techno; I'm looking for something more atmospheric, along the lines of Nox Arcana (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K3yVHz2s1kw&feature=related), Coppola's Dracula film (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gk7sjUfwGd8&feature=related) and Vampire the Masquerade: Redemption (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=It_YJ432Tnk).

Sweep and Ricochet by Blue Foundation (though I personally use 'em for Mage)

Jokes aside (though I like that song), I suggest looking at the soundtrack of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. It's filled to the brim with atmospheric music.

Only really works if you've seen The Exorcist, but fairly creepy even still. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bYmIKcP7Nbc) Also, some of King Crimson's stuff gets fairly vampire-y. Providence (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ehJA3KDLDtk), Lark's Tongues in Aspic (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWp430Ik4tU), and The Devil's Triangle (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3FneEa7F1UA&feature=related) leap to mind.

Look into soundtracks from relevant films or games, not the ones that use popular music or artists oviously (as that seems not to be what you are looking for) but for the original scores. The Interview With A Vampire score is pretty good surprisingly.
Some classical pieces may be of use to you but it depends on what you want at the end of the day as to if it will be of use. Within a lot of vampire stories they use classical music because it's what they know. They often seem to like piano or violin but that is just something I've noticed.

I hope some of that helped even though I didn't give actual pieces for you

Ostara by The Wishing Tree
Things Buried by Richard Barbieri if your setting is a bit more modern.

Since I'm a Eurovision fan, I can't not suggest Vampires Are Alive (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PCfr37FR1sU).

Ha ha, neither can I!

"I am a vampire, I'm a slave,
A slave to the daylight,
Hence my grave..."

Gotta love those lyrics!

Bela Lugosi's Dead, by Bauhaus. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OKRJfIPiJGY)

That song is so amazing. 10 minutes long, but wonderfully put together.

I actually have the inside sleeve of that album on my living room wall. Well, it's my parents, had it as long as I can remember. Also have a "Love will Tear us Apart" poster, Joy Division. My parents are weird?

All of these "Try this" links make it hard to make sure no one has already posted this, since I am at school. It also means I can't link it now. Vicarious- Tool
