How have people found these? I've DMed 4E for almost a year and a half now and I'm just starting getting into them as I wanted a particular baddie for my boss: a Tiefling lich. Ended up buffing the Tiefling heretic to level 15 and giving him the lich template.

Problem is we want a female dwarf with some sort of curse on her now, and the only MM ones are level 5, looks like a custom job.

I do like the ones in DMG2 though.

Any thoughts? Stories?

What's the curse?

We're unsure, she has let this passion demon take control of her though and she had a child with him, she's also trapped in the palace with both of them and followers so she's slightly unhinged.

Yeah, there's a lot of fluff for this dwarf lady to stat through

Do you mean Passion Devil? I'd use the Passion Devil as a sort of template (in that the Devil has partially corrupted her into becoming one of his own), then customize that with Dwarven racials, custom skills/languages/ability scores, and upgraded powers from the lowbie Dwarven monsters.

I wouldn't mind producing something if you gave me a type/role/level to work with.

She'd be a Leader, as she's a ruler and would be able to control and buff her minions like a noble. Needs a similar level to the Passion Devil, as it's a Paragon tier campaign, the characters are level 12.

Elite? Solo? Also do you have a name for her yet? I'm actually almost done, just need to get these last few details.

Elite, she'll have a passion demon, a scion cambion and some dueregar with her. They're not really duregar, we're just using their stats.

And her name is Brigeda.

Alright, here's what I've come up with. I've made her level 16 as a Passion Devil is of the same level. This incarnation assumes that her metamorphosis to devil is almost complete; you may want to remove her fly speed and/or reduce/eliminate her fire resistance if you intended otherwise.

Brigeda, Corrupted Noble, Level 16 Elite Controller(Leader):

Hey, not a problem; I enjoy 4e homebrew!

I'll have to post the Lich's stats though, they're rather impressive.

What is some other homebrew you've done?

Just noticed something, she's a Dwarf so she's not Medium, she's small right?

Dwarves are on the short end of medium, but still medium.

I'd assume so, being a Lich and all ;)

I've updated Brigeda to prevent her from racking up opportunity attacks on hit enemies by changing the move to a slide. I've also prevented her from self-targeting with order attacks, hilarious as that might be :P. The image hosted on photobucket should be updated; if not I'll tool around for a bit until it displays.

As for my other homebrew, so far I've produced the following list:

Ritual Casting Fix:

A bunch of monster packs:

Legion Devils (Early-Mid Paragon):

You might be interested in these, when scaled to the PCs they should present an interesting and legitimate threat.

Magitek (Mid-Late Heroic):

Ghouls (Late Heroic):

4E Warpriest Death Domain (Incomplete, up to late Paragon done):

Pyromancer Powers (Largely incomplete):

Shroudmaster, Assassin Paragon Path:

[4e] Monk Unarmed Strike Support:

There are a couple of other projects, but they are mostly incomplete and likely will not be revisited soon.

As much as I like Breidega, is she going to clas with the other baddies? I'll be having a passion demon and a Scion cambion as well. In other words, Mum Dad and their kid.

I actually designed her to work well with them. For example, the Passion Devil can pull in creatures and daze them, then on her turn Brigeda can dominate one with Infernal Touch, appoint that creature as a Champion, then launch the dominated creature to attack a PC with Infernal Command. Or the Cambion Scion can dominate a marked creature with Dread Command and Brigeda can do the same thing, only without having to sacrifice her Standard on Infernal Touch to dominate it. If you really want to be evil, try the following combo which fully exploits their synergies:

#1: Passion Devil pulls/dazes a bunch of PCs. One is pulled adjacent to the Scion, and another pulled adjacent to Brigeda if possible.
#2: Cambion Scion uses Oath of the Nine (minor), Burning Longsword on the target hit with Oath for 10 bonus damage (standard), and then Dread Command on the hit and marked target (minor).
#3: Brigeda hits the dazed target pulled adjacent to her with Infernal Touch (standard), or moves towards/flanks the dazed target, and then hits it. She then uses Brigeda's Champion on the most powerful target (dominated PC or monster), uses Infernal Command (minor) to order that target to attack a PC (preferably within her Aura and the healer), and then spends an Action Point to use Infernal Edict to order up to 5 PCs (dominated or not) and/or allies to gang beat the healer (positioned such for maximum flanking).

You know, now you've said that I'm thankful I have another DM running the encounter with me.

Haha, wouldn't mind the responsibility; have any interesting terrain features/traps that might add to the fight?

Yeah, I'm using a map from the Death's Reach adventure, I'l going to go through the terrain issues with my fellow DM when the encounter gets closer. As there's a loooooooooooooooooooong way to go before we get to her.

Ah. Well, always a good idea to have monster tactics and such planned out ahead; saves you on the prep headache or forgetting powers/playing the encounters terribly.
