This thread is going to be for posting up news on any game initiatives based on raising relief money for the Japan earthquakes. If you find any other of these sales going on please post them in here so we can find out about them.

Currently Sonic and Street Fighter titles on the iPhone and iPod touch are on sale with all proceeds going to charity. (http://toucharcade.com/2011/03/15/sonic-and-street-fighter-titles-temporarily-on-sale/)

Play-Asia.com a site I do most of my game buying from:

is going to launch a fund raiser campaign for Japan disaster relief soon.

With it starting in apparently less than 2 hours.

Let's also keep this thread free of fighting, if you don't want to buy from these fund raising initiatives you don't have to .

EDIT: The following list is a list of products on Play-Asia where they will donate a certain amount to the relief effort when you buy it. (http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-00-3-donations-49-en.html)

You can also visit their Facebook page and make suggestions to expand the list. (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Play-Asiacom/106842498811#!/pages/Play-Asiacom/106842498811)

Aksys games have just become another company helping with the relief effort.

They've slashed the prices on numerous titles and 100% of those proceeds will be donated to charity efforts in Japan.

As most of you, I’m sure, already know, the country of Japan was recently hit by a serious earthquake, followed by an even more devastating tsunami. We decided we wanted to do something to help. Our CEO, Akibo Shieh, had this to say:
The thoughts and prayers of our staff are with the people of Japan. We have many friends, relatives, and business partners who have found themselves suddenly faced with a level of tragedy that most of us can scarcely imagine. The scale of destruction is immense, but we have no doubt that with a combined effort it can be reversed, and every contribution—no matter the size—will play an important part in doing so. We can all play a part in helping Japan overcome this crisis.
With that in mind, we at Aksys Games would like to announce the following sale. It will run from today until March 24th, and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to charity efforts in Japan. If you can’t afford to buy anything, spread the word. Together, we can help.
Head to our store (http://www.aksysgames.com/store/) to check out the items on sale, or hit the jump for a list.

EDIT:

Now it's official: We are an official fund raising organization, endorsed by the Hong Kong Red Cross - this comes with reliabilities e.g. we said to raise a minimum of US$ 10,000 for Japan, the more the better obviously. Today we added over 50 products to the donation section. Check out the full list here:

I've been pretty depressed by the whole disaster. I don't think there's any need to explain that, really. It's a horrible, horrible tragedy.

I like the games Aksys brings over in the first place. If I can pick up Deathsmiles, whatever else, and donate 100% of that money spent on it to relief efforts, I can't refuse. It's amazing what Aksys is doing.
