I was wondering if somebody ever tried to do create a template rules that would reproduce the essence of becoming a Lich, but rather than working with purely undead forces, you'd go with Construct.
(yhea, the general idea came from Order of the Stick's corpse animation).
In short, somehow turning the wizard/cleric/whatever into a special kind of construct. Requirements would be Lawful, and I'd make it play probably as you need to have to write a number X of rules that you now always have to follow. These rules must probably be related to the reason you want to become a ConstructLich.
Process would probably be, in part, going to the Inevitable Fortress and bargain for the right to escape Death.
