View Full Version : Did we miss a thread?

We tried to get all threads that deal with the "fluffier" side of homebrewing, but we may have missed some.

If you have a thread that deals with world creation or any of the issues with which this forum concerns itself, post a link to that thread here and someone will move it over (eventually).

I didn't post in my world creation thread in 2 weeks, so it probably got missed, but I'd like to get it started again and it probably belongs in the worldbuilding section: http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=188327

The Traveler's Guide to Zaaman-Rul (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=172194), being entirely fluff, should be in here as well.

This (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=182707) is on the last pages, so it might have missed your eye.

If Community World Building Projects count, then there's the one in my sig. And several others I shall go dig up now.

EDIT: This (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=176818) began as world building, but ended up having some crunch evolving around it, is it still applicable?

This (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=53869) is mostly a fluff thing

Also, several Community World Building Projects here (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=142545&highlight=viridia), here (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=73059), here (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=102891&highlight=smog), and here (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=159688&highlight=winds+aether).

Hope this helps

Well, most of my projects are of a largish nature, & deal extensively with world-building to some extent. Those that qualify, yet have not made the transition are:

[Hourglass of Zihaja] Chapter 2: The World of Siraaj (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=177515) (it says that is was moved, but it doesn't appear in the WB sub-forum)
Elemental Plane of Flesh (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=53869) (not a world, per se, but an infinite universe of meat is close enough)
The Oaves (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=37855) (not a world, either, but a fluff-heavy thread about a race, detailing every conceivable aspect of their existence)

The rest of my projects don't really qualify as world-building according to the new rules, but the above definitely fit the bill.

For shame! you missed the main page of the Gates of heaven (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=170482) project. There are a few smaller threads that you missed but we are terrible about keeping track of those.

This (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=186898). Not much activity lately, so easy to miss.

OK, all threads linked have been moved.

Keep in mind that you do not need to be the creator of a thread in order to point it out to us; we want to move all appropriate threads, even if their owners aren't around anymore.

Many thanks, sir. I'll keep my eye open for anything else that might be better off here.

I am noticing that some threads are organized in World-Building, but I still can't view them there. In the sub-forum, they are not visible, but if linked directly, the threads say that they are in the WB sub-forum. For example, all three of the threads that I linked above are experiencing this issue. Is there a way to correct this?

I don't know, but I tried moving them out and then back in, and it seems to have fixed it. Let me know if you still have a problem.

Doesn't appear to have done anything for me. Still can't see the thread I linked, still can't see Zeta's threads.

Perplexing. :smallconfused:

I can see your thread very clearly on page 4, with a final post date of 8/12/2010:

And I bumped Zeta's thread to the front page and took this:

What are you seeing instead?

For me, I cannot see any threads past page two. There are, according to the forum, 60 threads in total.

However, I can see Zeta's thread now, since you bumped it.

Same here. I see the bumped one, but the other two & unosarta's are invisible to me. Thanks for the bump, though, Rich; it's always appreciated.

There is a simple reason for that: the forum by default shows only threads last posted in the last month. If the last post in the thread is older than that, you won't be able to see it without changing the view settings (conveniently located below each forum).

Rose Dragon hit it on the head, here. I can now see it. Thanks man.

Ah-HA! That did it. Thank you, TRD.

Though I haven't done much with it recently I want to see if I can revisit Dragon World which can be found linked in my sig. Though I'm not ready to revisit it right now so if it would be better to just start a new thread when I'm ready, with a link to the old one then that's fine too.

Operation: Exalt (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=173001) should probably be moved.

There are now 666 threads here. Just thought you'd like to know.
