[D20 modern] Offroad rules?

Does anyone know if there are rules for driving off road in D20 Modern? If so, how do they work?

I believe it's a simple Drive check. Up the DC for bad terrain, maybe give bonuses to the player based on whether the vehicle has good suspension, all wheel drive, etc.

Ok, any ideas how to determine the bonuses. I would just base them off the manuver rating or something, but SUV's all have a penalty, and only sports cars get a bonus, which would make no sense.

Try to find d20 Apocalypse if you can. Unfortunately it's not open content :smallsigh:. I think I can say that you double the check modifier for your speed, and you take a small penalty on Drive checks depending on the terrain.

OK, thanks, I have that book, although it does not say how to apply bonuses to things like a Jeep, just that penalties from speed are doubled, and what each terrain type's penalty is. Any thoughts on how to go about figuring out off-road bonuses for cars that are designed for it? (The book mentions a modification to cars for offroad, -2 on road, +2 off, but what about when they already are that kind of car)
