The air surrounding you fairly hums with the residue of magic, an aftereffect of the spell that brought you to this place. A quick glance reveals that you are in a small room, devoid of any life save for yourself. The sound of dripping water can be heard faintly, and the stone walls are slick with moisture. In complete defiance of logic, a torch is already lit, resting in a sconce near the room's single door.

The corridor extends South 35', then turns East. It also turns East immediately in front of you. There is an intersection 25' to the South which turns East as well.

I see. The intersection you see is to the South. Upon setting out, you will glance a 4-way intersection up the first East passage. Which one would you like to head to?

I turn east and walk down past that intersection and I will continue on this corridor, no matter if it turns left or right, until I find a door.

The floor under your feet was actually only disguised as solid stone. It collapses, dropping you into a 20' pit for [roll0] damage (Reflex DC15 negates).

Actually, your low speed gives you a -6 to jumps. Even so, an 11 will get you across. Roll another 1d20+2, then ...

That misses, unfortunately.

It opens its mouth and FOOSHes you for [roll0] /2 fire damage. Reflex halves it again. You are now entangled by strands of burning, fiery fire.

Edit: Minimum is 1hp damage, so don't bother rolling. It moves back 5'. Your action.

You can move, but all movements cost double and no 5' step. Your grapple check beats the pants off of anything he can roll. Go ahead and roll damage.

Hmm. Looks like that Ensnaring Breath got renewed a round early. I missed a round of damage.

Actually, I just noticed a couple things, Zaz. You attacked first, so your opponent was flat-footed (i.e. your 10 touch attack actually hit). I'm rolling his grapple check retroactively: [roll0]. If that doesn't beat your initial 18 check, you'll have grabbed him a round early for [roll1] damage. Since you can use an opposed grapple check to inflict damage, I'm fine letting your subsequent rolls stand.

Okay, looks like you nailed your opponent on round 2 after all. Here's the revised damage you took, round by round:
1) 1 fire
2) 4 fire
3) [roll0] fire (you have a chance to act before this takes effect).

So he dies and I take 5 damage and then I drink a cure light wounds potion.

healing: [roll0] (Is there any modifier to a potion?)

And then I take an additional 5 damage.

Also I check him for loots.

Edit: The potion brings me to 10 hp, and the fire damage brings me to 5hp again.

A potion of cure light wounds is Caster Level 1; that is, it heals 1d8+1 damage.

Edit: Also, you gain 150xp and his suit of chainmail.

It's -6 per 10' movement below 30, +4 per 10' movement above. I'll inspect your character later tonight. The passage goes 25' to the West from you, into a T-intersection with a North-South passage. To the East, just past the bullseye, the passage turns South.

Subract 6 points from my jump check before, 13-6 gives a total of 7 jump, if thats enough I'll jump past the bullseye.

Assuming a running start, you just barely make it.

After just 10', the North branch hits another T-intersection with another passage going East-West. 20' in either direction from this juncture, the passage turns North.

Future reference, you are allowed to voluntarily lower your own AC, iirc. For two people who both want to grapple, I'd say just skip to the grapple checks.

You roll once for offence, and once for defence. If you win offence vs defence, you do damage. If you win defence vs offence, you don't take damage.

You find a series of passages connecting to various other doors in Huggy's room. You also find a bank of vending machines selling pretty much everything listed somewhere in official 3.5 rules. There is also a machine that buys items at 50% book value. Should you wish, you can rest here. You can also advance to the next dungeon level from here.

You can move onwards if you wish. If I were you I'd take advantage of the level 2 char gen stats, getting some more gold and XP to give you a fighting chance.

I'm confused now, if I move on to 2nd dungeon floor, do I then get a level up to level 2, or do I stay as a Level one?

If I do get a level, do I then keep my loot?

As I understand it, you gain no XP and keep your loot. If you die, you can create a new, level 2 PC with WBL-appropriate items and coin.
