Let's Play Magicka: "what the hell, how'd I die this time?"

So after a long search I found a game to play with my friend and we will be recording our adventures.

A world of Magic, goblins, dragons, and team killing awaits as we venture through with a mission that I'm really not clear on other than the guy telling us what to do is totally not a vampire.

Throughout the adventure I will be looking for others to join us two so if you own Magicka and would like to join us feel free to contact me and I'll get you into the action.

Not quite. There's a way to get it, but it involves frost, shield, the land mines, and something else. You need to do it next to the bridge, though.

There is a book outside the university you can get by casting Cold, but it's not the book on the bridge. You get the one on the bridge later in the game, although you can abuse certain spells to grab it early.

I'll most likely go back once the game is fixed so I can earn achievements, for the sake of the LP we must press on. Episode 2 is recorded and I'll get it compressed and such by tomorrow night.

Note to those interested in trying this game due to hijinks:


If you have a laptop, don't bother. Most integrated graphics cards don't run the game, and this won't change any time soon.

This does give me an added incentive to move on to a desktop.

The above only applies if your Laptop has an integrated Graphics card. If it has a separate one, you should be fine. Might have to turn off some features, though.

part 1 is unfixable those skips are my game lagging on it's own, part 2 got rejected for no reason, it's being uploaded again now.

It looks like video 1 was edited out of sequence. The section beginning at about 11:05 seems to fit the time-skip that happens around 5:30.

Edit: And I have also played a D&D adventure that involved looking on an airship for a vampire. The ship crashed of course.

Thanks for all the interest guys, since I have a lot of people wanting to join in now invited will be given on a basis of who's online and then be based on who has already had a chance to be included before.(the exception being rota since this is our thing that I promised we'd do awhile ago).

Sorry about the delay guys I just have a lot of life going on right now, whenever I do find time I can't get others at the same time and I really want to get four people in the next episode. There are some people who asked to be in it right away and haven't gotten a chance so I'm trying to get those people in. This is both hilarious and awesome, and if I had a computer that wouldn't die just from being with three feet of the game I'd try to get it myself. As it is, I'm perfectly happy watching you maniacs blow one another up through various combinations of mines, shields and crossing the streams. :smallbiggrin: But seriously, this is great.
