Just as the title asks, has the die roller in the IC and Dice Rolling forums been turned off again? I know it was turned off a few days ago for the forum switching, but I thought it had been turned on. But I just tried to make a roll in the IC forum and got just "" as the result.

I'll try it here, too, in case I'm doing something wrong.

Worked fine for me a minute ago. (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showpost.php?p=10600289&postcount=2681)

It hasn't been switched off and it seems to be working fine. Did you preview your post before submitting?

P.S. The roller will only work in the gaming forums, and not in the first post of a thread either, which is why the test failed here.

Ah, OK, I didn't know about the first post problem. Thanks.

Does that mean any post that is edited can't have a roll edited into it, too?

Correct, rolls have to go in on the first submission, they can't be editted in afterwards.

Indeed, you cannot edit a roll into a post.

OK, thanks.

Can I then use this post to request that these facts be included in a better "How the die roller works" thread than currently exists?
