You know how someone will write a good handbook to a certain part of the game? These are my favorite threads.

I'm looking for a specific thread, one with several lists of adventuring kits to get past almost any obstacles thrown at you in a dungeon. With some awesome fluff about an NPC who the bags are named after.
Scoured my history and couldn't find it, if someone can point me in the correct direction, I would be eternally grateful.

Otherwise, here are the threads I have bookmarked. They're awesome, and everyone should read them at least once.

Fill That Slot! (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=149464)
Person Man's Guide to Shields (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=123630)
The Logic Ninja's Guide to Wizards: Being Batman (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=104002)

I encourage sharing of all guides and handbooks, I'm always surprised to find something that's been around for a while I never happened to see.

While I ran across Gnorman's two guides (for the lower and upper planes, respectively) for creatures to summon/bind in that list, is there any complete listing of the best/most excellent creatures to summon and bind in general, across all splatbooks?

Gnorman says he plans on doing a guide for all alignments, it will just take forever.

Lol... I've got a list of these things as long as my arm. So long as it's OK with the original posters, I'll re-post the links here. Just remember: Necromancy is strongly frowned upon. (NOTE: I am not the original author of any of these. Some of them aren't from the OOTS forums; there's a couple off of brilliantgameologists, a couple from the wizards community boards, and even a couple from gleemax.)

The consolidated Binder handbook, despite having malformed UBB code in every single place it's posted (:smallconfused:) is something I actually consider mandatory to even play a Binder at all, since ToM's lengthy alphabetically-sorted vestiges make it a very annoying task to even find out what a Binder can do at a given level, let alone build one.

Really, is there no place in ToM that just lays out a simplified explanation of each vestige, similar to spellcasters' spell lists?

The ToM is easily the least edited of all 3.5 material. Truenamer? The Vestige "organization"? Shadowcasters? Ugh.

On this same topic, Binder is a really, really fun class. Super flavorful, always useful, just easy enough to screw up to be risky, just hard enough to optimize to be challenging, and to top it all off, it's fun! My ideal party includes a Binder, if only for the reason that it's really hard to have a bad experience playing one.
