Youtube Loading Snake?

I was looking at a Youtube video waiting for it to load, and I pressed down on my keypad after clicking on the video. Normally, this would mean that you would lower the volume, but apparently since it was loading, I got to play a version of Snake (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snake_(video_game)). How long has this been going on?

It was changed to down? It used to be left.

Huh. Yeah, up and down, left and right just seem to jump across the video until the snake is spawned.

Pretty fun. My sister and I tried playing tandem snake. we failed utterly. I was down and right, she was up and left.
