Cold Immunity/Resistance?

I'm looking for either a feat or a magic item which offers immunity or resistance to cold type damage. Immunity is preferrable.

There is a lesser ring of cold resistance that offer a 10 on its resistance. I think its 12,000gp.

Resistance is easy enough to come by: You can enchant armor to resist energy up to 30 points, and (while expensive) it doesn't even count towards the maximum enchantment bonus.

Immunity on the other hand is much harder to come by. Certain prestige classes will grant it (Elemental Savant comes to mind) but almost always as a late progression class feature.

Frost Mage (Frostburn) gives Cold Resistance 10 at level 2, and the cold subtype (including immunity to cold) at level 10.

Frostrager PrC allows you to be healed by cold damage when in a Rage.

The Acererak vestige (Binder 10, or Binder 8 with a feat) makes you immune to Cold damage and healed by Negative Energy, plus various other Lich like abilities.

A couple different soulmelds provide large amounts of Cold Resistance. A 2-3 level dip in Totemist or Incarnate or 2-3 feats would be needed to get Cold Resistance 10-20ish. With a larger investment you can get up to Cold Resistance 40ish.

Ring of Energy Immunity is an epic magic item costing 240,000 gp.

Levels 6-10 of Horizon Walker can give you 20. Can get as early as 6th (ECL 11), although you'll probably want to take at least one of the other planar terrain masteries (like the almost-at-will Dimension Door) at 6th.
