The Housecat (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/monsters/cat.htm)

At the request of my fiancé, I ask you this:
Without awakening it, what templates can be applied to the housecat make it either CR15, or capable of killing a party of four ECL 10s?

CR 15 ?

The Paragon template (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/epic/monsters/paragonCreature.htm)

CR 15 ?

The Paragon template (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/epic/monsters/paragonCreature.htm)

Of course, it would only have 16 HP. I'm not sure that it would be representative of a typical CR 15 enemy.

Cast Awaken (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/awaken.htm) upon the cat, give it 15 levels in Druid and the village idiot for an animal companion.

you seemed to have misread the top post about not awakening it

Templates tend to not advance hit dice, so any cat with templates out the wazoo would die in one hit from the party beatstick. Not really possible, IMO.

And not only did you forget to capitalize the first letter of your sentence, you also forgot to add a period at the end.:smalltongue:

Why not just stack on any template you happen to find?

I would love to see a pseudonatural vampire paragon housecat!

There's always the Titanic template from Monster Manual II. That'll get you up to CR 13 with 25 HD. You can get the extra +2 CR from adding any number of other templates (Fiendish, etc.)

Just give it spring attack and pounce and you'll have something practically pythonesque.

Not all of us are native english speakers. His post was perfectly understandable.

Back on topic:
The HD will be the biggest problem, I'd recommend giving it some class levels of some type first, search the homebrew, there's a whole thread somewhere of Cat themed classes.

Also, throwing on a ton of Half-X templates could be humerous. (although that would delute the "killed by housecat" moment)

Now a titanic paragon cat could be interesting. It would be a bit beyond the specs of this thread, but interesting nonetheless.

The mother of a half-vampire half-dragon half-ogre half-giant half-fiend lycanthropic housecat must have had a really, really terrible life :smalleek:

So Awakening is out... maybe you could try an Antropomorphic cat. Without human shape.

You could apply the Titanic template from MMII to make it gargantuan and give it 25 HD, and then pile on the extra heads(+2 HD per head) from Savage Species until it's of the desired power level. If that doesn't do it, keep adding half-X templates, as recommended until it's actually of the desired power level.

Replace one of it's eyes with a Shield brooch and make the other one cast disintegrate at-will. (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=93068)

If 3rd party is allowed, the Foo-creature template (Tome of Horrors) is one way to boost it's base hit dice.

Titanic Housecat = Kitten Kong (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kitten_Kong)!
