The clerk takes you back to the practice yard to, well, practice. Several lanky guardsmen are sparring nearby.

"Well, boys, we've got ourselves a new recruit, it seems." One of the men sparring says. "Who wants to break in the new guy?"

A rather scarred and well muscled man says, "I'll take him."

"don't kill him." the clerk whispers in your ear.

The man who seems to lead these guardsmen says, "Very well, you're on. How big is your debt, by the way?"

As the soldier falls, Fang says, "Yawn. That was boring. I wanted a good fight." Then looks at the guy and says, "I think the soldier said twenty gold, but I like this and think I would like working with you. I am good at finding information and as you see i am good at fighting." [roll0]
