Spell Recommendations for an Undead themed Bard

What are the best/coolest bard spells. My character concept is NE Undead themed bard. Currently have 3rd level spells. Ideas?

Depends on what you are planning on doing for your undead-themed bard.

If you are planning on using bardic music with undead, then there's a feat you'll need. Specifically: Requiem Song. This lets you apply your morale bonuses from your song to undead, who are normally immune to it.

There's not a lot of Bard undead-themed spells, but a lot of Bard spells either work really well, or don't work at all, on Undead.

Any mind-affecting/fear spells are good, especially since they don't work on your undead allies. Perhaps you can swap your cure spells for inflicts? It does make sense thematically, after all.

In fact, anything from the necromancy school. Oh, and undetectable alignment.
