The air surrounding you fairly hums with the residue of magic, an aftereffect of the spell that brought you to this place. A quick glance reveals that you are in a small room, devoid of any life save for yourself. The sound of dripping water can be heard faintly, and the stone walls are slick with moisture. In complete defiance of logic, a torch is already lit, resting in a sconce near the room's single door.

(I don't intend to do much in the form of RP here, as I'm alone in this game so the entertainment value is more from the hack n slash.)

Ikioi walks over to the torch and takes it, holding it in his left hand, 10' pole in the right. Then to the door, first poking it then tapping the handle firmly with the pole. Assuming nothing happens, he'll open it slowly and peek out.

Opening the door reveals a 5' wide corridor south.

Immediately, the corridor splits east, and again after 25', and the corridor ends in a T-junction after 35'.

Scratch that, sorry, you grabbed the torch.

It doesn't take kindly to being grabbed, and attacks:

d20+8 for d4+1 bludgeoning damage.

Okay, lets try this again. Added Flint and Steel, 10x Torch, 5x Sunrod.
Never going to need a torch again.

Ikioi sets his pole on the floor, removes his backpack, fishes out a torch and pulls the flint and steel from a front pocket. He lights his torch, puts the flint and steel back, grabs his pole and makes for the door, as described above.

Through the door hole, there's a 5' wide corridor south.

Charnal Touch up to full HP, then out the hole. I'll glance around the corner to the east (spot [roll0], if necessary) before proceeding. If I see nothing, I'll go east.

As you start to walk out the door, you bump into an invisible wall of some sort, where the door was.

Suddenly, gravity slowly reverses, and you float to the 'ceiling'.

A note appears, but it seems unaffected by the gravity switch, and settles on the 'floor'.

The torch falls out its bracket and lands nearby you.

Hmm... I'm gonna try to see if that invisible wall is there still via smacking with the pole. If it isn't, I'd like to try to pull myself up into the doorway.

doorway is many feet off the ground. You'll need to climb.

Or, y'know, you could maybe read what the note says?

Lemme guess, "I prepared explosive runes today"? Or maybe it'll fold up into a paper airplane and paper-cut me to death. Nope. It can sit on the 'floor'

20' high ceiling, door's probably about 8' tall at least. 12' climb. I should be able to grab it like a ledge and pull myself up. I'll Take 10 on the climb check (10+0=10). If that isn't good enough, Take 20, unless something or someone interferes.

South: The corridor goes for 20' south and then turns west, there is a door on the east wall after 15'

East: The corridor goes for more than the 40' you can see, there is a door on the north wall after 20'

West: You came from there.

The corridor turns east for 10' and then north again, after another 10' north it splits, east/west.

East: It goes for 30', after 20' there is a corridor that goes north and again after 30' there is a corridor going north.

West: It goes for more than the 40' that you can see, but after 20' there is a corridor going north.

West is east and east is west.

West: It goes for 30', after 20' there is a corridor that goes north and again after 30' there is a corridor going north.

East: It goes for more than the 40' that you can see, but after 20' there is a corridor going north.

Looking north, the corridor is 10' long then turns east with a door against the north wall. Then, looking east, there's a door east after 20' and a split north after 30'? That part confuses me.

From the original turning north, you see a corridor that turns east after 10', with no door, and the eastwards corridor goes 20' and stops. After 10', it splits north. Make a spot check.

Ok, I'm really annoyed at myself now.

There *is* a door north at the turn east, but the corridor turns north after 10 east, no continuing to a wall.

There's a notecard on the eastern wall at the turning north.

Are you darkvisioning, or do you have a torch?

10' North of the corner, there is a 4-way intersection. The North passage turns West after 10'. You cannot yet see more than 5' down the East or West passages.

The hallway proceeds 10' West, then turns North. 20' to the North, there is a door on both the West and East walls. After a total of 40', the passage turns East.

Just 5' to the South, there is a large bullseye on the floor. On the East wall here, you see a door. 45' further to the South, the passage splits, heading West. It also travels South to the 60' limit of your darkvision.

No darkvision, just a torch. And that just has to be a trap... Ikioi will cast detect magic, first focusing on the bullseye, then looking around to see what can be learned from it.

It's probably not going to be anything good, but I'm going to back to the door on the east wall at the bullseye. First gently touching it with the 10' pole, then if nothing happens, my hand. If still nothing happens I'll put my ear to it, listening for any sounds from the other side.

There is a door at A-2, and another at C1 east. There is a large lever with a bright red handle in the center of the room. There is a cake in the southeast corner of the room, on a tray bolted to the floor, with frosting reading something. . A note attached to the wall above the cake reads something else.

Ikioi exits the room the same way he entered. Turning south down the corridor he goes to the spot in the wall that was glowy with magic. Poke with pole, smack with pole, then touch with hand.

The passage goes 10', then turns North and goes 20', ending in a door. After a 5' gap South of this door, on the West wall, there is another door.
