Fiendish familiars are symbionts from the back of the Fiend Folio. They grant some pretty boss benefits to arcane casters, and as outsiders, are summonable with a planar binding spell.
Is there any reason they don't show up in CharOp for wizards? They don't have a listed price, but as a small pet you can bind and chain, they seem like a pretty default thing to have. That is, if you don't mind a tiny, evil, living face leering out of your chest.
