So other than switching out when you'd get a normal feat (past level 20)

Is it true that you get an Epic feat every 4th level after 20th? (Meaning starting at 24th)

Because I can't find that anywhere, even the SRD.

So does that mean Monsters dont get Epic feats since they aren't a class.

Monster HD are less powerful than class HD, and correspondingly have a lower CR increase. Monsters get the standard 1/3 HD feats.

I guess that means my DM was an idiot. He claimed that EVERYONE beyond level 20 got to get an Epic feat every 4th level. (So its be 24th, 28th, 32nd, etc.) AND regular feats every 3rd level.

Im not gonna lie, its kinda sucks that he was wrong.

You get a feat at 21st level/HD and every 3 levels afterwards. Because you have 21+ HD, you are Epic, and so the feats you gain from advancing levels/HD can be Epic Feats if you want them to be.

Also, classes gain epic bonus feats in individual progressions once they pass level 20+.

Monsters can take epic feats using their normal allotment of feats, but they won't automatically get any bonus epic feats unless otherwise stated in their entry.
