So... just having a conversation with a friend here and we realized: there is a 3.5 book for arctic, aquatic, and desert based adventures, but no jungle. There are city and dungeon based as well as underground and planar, but no jungle.

There are four main variant races: Aquatic, Arctic, Desert, and Jungle, so why no Jungle? Did the subject get covered in another book that I just don't know about?

So, if there was a Jungle-themed book made for 3.5 what would be in it?

There are a smattering of sources you can use, I think that's the reason there is no Forest/Jungle book. Races of the Wild, Complete Adventurer, Complete Champion, and other books typically have temperate plains/forests as their default setting. Since Jungles aren't very far off from forests, I don't know that a jungle book would have made much sense.

Check out the Toxic Paradise articles here (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/arch/fw).

Serpent Kingdoms might have some stuff in it too. Not sure though, since I have never opened that book even once, lest the laments of a thousand broken games escape its covers.

Nyambe (http://www.rpggeek.com/rpgitem/47698/nyambe-african-adventures) might be useful. It's not exactly what you asked for however. It's 3.0. It's also 3rd party. It's an African based setting, not a jungle splat book. That being said, it's content should be very applicable to any jungle setting and it's pretty cheap on Amazon.
