I am looking at two potential builds for a Sorcerer and I want some help picking between the two.

First off the character's Race is as follows: Magicblooded Loredrake Dragonwrought White Dragon Spawn Desert Kobold.
(Note that the point of this thread is to decide which build is better, not to question the legitimacy of the character's race.)

The first build I have is:
Sorcerer 1/Rainbow Servant 10/Incantrix 9
(The version of Rainbow Servant used is the one by text not table.)

The second is:
Sorcerer 5/Sandshaper 1/Incantrix 10/Fate Spinner 4

ACFs:
Metamagic Specialist and (on second build) Domain Access (Planning)

Feats:
1: Reserves of Strength, Iron Will, Dragonwrought
3: Draconic Reservoir
6: Build 1: Extend Spell, Build 2: Touchstone (City of the Dead)
9: Rapid Metamagic
12: Residual Magic
15: Energy Substitution
18: Energy Admixture

Incantrix Bonus Feats:
Fell Drain
Quicken Spell
Persistent Spell
Build 2: Twin Spell

Both builds have taken the Greater Draconic Rite of Passage.

The latter character, as there really aren't that many cleric spells for a sorcerer I would want to give up knowing cleric spells for.

Sorc2/Rainbow Servant1/stuff/incant10 might be nice for getting a nifty domain, like spell, if you can finagle it with your DM. Which I'm guessing won't be too hard, as your race is all illegal and stuff.

Sorcerer 2/Rainbow Servant 10/Incantrix 8
(The version of Rainbow Servant used is the one by text not table.)
Both builds have taken the Greater Draconic Rite of Passage. Can you do Sorcerer 1/Rainbow Servant 10/Incantatrix 9? To enter Rainbow Servant by level 3, you need early entry tricks. At level 2, a Sorcerer is spell level 1 (even after Greater Draconic Rite of Passage). Since you're already using tricks to gain two spell levels, why not enter after level 1?

You are right I can enter it at level 2, I missed that. Thanks.

Considering Sorcerers aren't a full-list caster like Beguiler or Warmage, you'll have to take the cleric spells you want as your precious few spells known. Extrapolating from TLN's guide, any round an arcane caster spends casting spells on the divine list, he's being a chump. Or something like that.

I'd go with the 2nd build personally.

I would like to question the legitimacy of the character's race.

Given that his race has eight words in it, I'm guessing the DM isn't a real stickler for the rules.

Actually, thats exactly the kind of race that someone who sticks EXACTLY to the rules would allow.

And if the DM was that lax, he wouldn't even need Rainbow Servant. Sorcerers have a special clause that says that they can learn just about any spell, DM permitting. If the DM wasn't such a rules stickler, you could use that clause with good graces to pick up the handful of spells you want without it. A strict, by-the-book DM wouldn't allow that suggestion.

And this isn't a thread to attack the OP. He even ASKED specifically not to be harassed about it. Comments like that are not required...
