After watching a brilliant short online (The Saga of Bjorn http://www.i-am-bored.com/bored_link.cfm?link_id=57771) I want to play an ancient warrior - in the venerable age category, with a very limited time to live. Problem: I can't bring myself to make a virtually useless character, no matter what the roleplaying application. So, what class best allows me to be a geriatric front line fighter who is still somewhat useful? I'm probably going to make a psychic warrior (dreamscarred press) but was also considering a holy warrior cleric variant. The holy warrior cleric variant is without a doubt the more powerful of the two, but in my mind it doesn't have the right feel. There's also the rage prophet prestige class - has anyone given it a shot? Or, are there any ways to make the basic fighter viable with a whopping -6 to my strength, dex, and con stats?

Edit: This is pretty much a Pathfinder only game, with some 3.5 stuff possibly allowed on a case by case basis; Intuitive attack from Book of Exalted Deeds has been disallowed, for reasons that are too long to get into here.

Edit: The pathfinder soulknife looks like an option too. The pathfinder psionic classes can be found here http://www.d20pfsrd.com/extras/collaborators/work-area/3rd-party-publishers/psionics-unleashed/psionics-unleashed/classes

I'm not the guy to talk to about Psionics.
That being said, my first 2 thoughts were:

Barbarian (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/barbarian): Take the Spirit Totem Rage Powers, you get a free attack each round at your Bab +Cha, that does 1d4+Cha (or 1d6 at reach if you get greater), and creatures have a (limited) 20% chance to miss you.

Paladin (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/paladin): Abuse the old age Cha boost, and ACTUALLY HAVE SKILLS with the Int boost. Bonus, you have Heavy Armor and Shield proficiency, so your low Dex won't hurt.
