The cheese shop. Also the dead parrot.

Also contains references to the Parrot Sketch (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=npjOSLCR2hE&feature=related) and Spam (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=anwy2MPT5RE).

EDIT: Argh, can't be first and thorough.

I love this strip so much, mostly because it brings back those 1st edition memories of looking at the weapon list from the Players Handbook and wondering "What the heck are all these things?". No illustrations, no descriptions, just the name and the stats on a list. So of course all the clerics used Lucerne Hammers, because hey, it's a big hammer, right?

That's often how I am playing NetHack.

After logging on today to check my threads, I spent the better part of an afternoon watching monty python sketches.

This was a productive day.

And where did the snake come from?

Okay, I know that others have already linked to the Cheese Shop Sketch, but I notice that it is the version, where Cleese manages to stay perfectly in character all the way.

So, here's the Cleese loses it (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uT3OQECSDoQ) version of the Cheese Shop Sketch. It is nearly identical to the original performance, but there are subtle differences, particularly in the second half of the sketch. :smallwink:
