Hay everyone,
Im currently playing a warforged artificer and I was wondering if anyone has found a list of the wondrous items by the caster level needed to create them?

I'm pretty sure all the wondrous items have the CL listed in their descriptions.

I know they do, I was just wondering if some website has them listed BY Caster Level so I dont have to leaf through the DMG to find which ones I meet Caster Level requirements for.

Sorry, I misunderstood. Anyway, here (https://docs.google.com/document/pub?id=1tCECGwPETBnNypQVbAJMy221R1C-1qnc3MTUJ19wMB8) you go.
This is only the names of the Wondrous Items, not the description.

On a side note, I have way too much free time.

Too bad the listed Caster Level of an item has nothing to do with what level it can be crafted at.

An item's default caster level IS NOT one of the prerequisites for making it, and never was intended to be considered one of the prerequisites. Source: SRD (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/magicItems/magicItemBasics.htm#casterLevel) and 3.5 DMG Errata (http://archive.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/errata)

The reason this is a tad confusing is because of the Artificer's ability where their caster level for creating items is considered their Class Level +2. To this day I am unsure when this is supposed to come into play.

Normally a Wizard would need to be 5th character level to put a 3rd level spell into a magic item.

An Artificer can put 3rd level spells into magic items at 3rd character level. And yes, this means access to the powerful 9th level spells two charactee levels sooner as well.

Except the Artificer explicitly uses UMD to emulate spells, for which there is no listed requirement that he meet the minimum caster level (which is by UMD standard, by the way).

Because it is not a "normal" use of UMD but rather an Artificer only use of UMD.

Additionally, the Artificer can draw from ANY spell list, even Prestige Class and Domain lists.
So if that tasty 5th level spell you want is printed anywhere as a 3rd level spell well then you are just a UMD check away from cramming it into a magic item for later use.

I agree with that, but the ability still does not SAY only spells for which the Artificer has the required virtual caster level can be emulated. That is just not there in the text.

Not sure what you're asking for here.
