The air surrounding you fairly hums with the residue of magic, an aftereffect of the spell that brought you to this place. A quick glance reveals that you are in a small room, devoid of any life save for yourself. The sound of dripping water can be heard faintly, and the stone walls are slick with moisture. In complete defiance of logic, a torch is already lit, resting in a sconce near the room's single door.

I just now became aware that Dragonborn got rid of my darkvision, so I never bought any light sources. Guess I'll have to grab the torch from the first room. Carrying club and torch.

20' later, it splits east.

10' later still, it ends in a T-junction.

At the splits, you saw:

First split:

n/s split at 10', door north at 30', corridor goes further than you can see.

Second split turns north after 10'.

East from the T, there's a door north after 35', with a bullseye outside it, and it turns north after 40' total.

West from the T, it turns south after 10'.

Near the center of the room, a horribly ugly creature with dingy blue scales marred here and there by large, pinkish-white sections of scar tissue stands at the ready, tongues of blue fire licking fanglike white teeth. The creature appears to be wearing chainmail beneath the remnants of an outfit that is almost entirely burned away, with only a few charred remnants remaining.

Finally, he picks up the torch from the wall and grabs his pole again before heading to the north door, assuming nothing happens in the meantime.

This torch is fixed, you can't seem to take it from the bracket. :smallconfused:

20' east, the corridor turns south with a door north.

10' west, the corridor splits north.

30' west it splits south.

The corridor goes on much further than you can see.

You are aware that drawing a weapon provokes no AoOs, right? And is a move action?

Sheet back up except for weights. Note that a few skills are slightly different because one of my traits, Nightsighted, was illegal (didn't think that Dragonborn replaced darkvision). I replaced it with Nearsighted.

the passage travels east over 40 feet, beyond the limit of your torchlight.
the passage travels west over 40 feet, beyond the limit of your torchlight.

Side note: Wing type dragonborn don't get darkvision.

When you reach the east turn: Passage runs east for 20 feet. At 10 feet, the passage turns north. At 20 feet, the passage ends in a dead end.

Yeah, this kobold killed me several times. He's one of the more deadly encounters. I ended up facing him first, until I beat him. The build that finally took him down had fire and cold resist 5, to blunt that offense.
