Soz I'm looking for shoes in US size 15.5-16 for less then $200 which are good for Parkour, I found the K-Swiss Ariake, however the site only goes up to size 8.

Any recommendations on shoes?

Except it doesn't cover the good for parkour part.

Are your feet particularly wide? If not, then I think Puma might do shoes that large. I've always had good experiences with Puma and parkour type activities. I can't remember off the top of my head how large the shoes are though.

If you check the home site of that shoe, they go up to size 12. I know that's still not enough for you, but just remember to check the manufacturer of a shoe you like for size options.

Definitely not good for Parkour... But I wear Magnum boots. They have odd sizes (14.5W, 15; for example. I take either of those). They're EXTREMELY comfortable... and quite durable as well.

Just figured I could throw that out there too :smalltongue:

I checked K-Swiss.com which only said they had them in 8. =P

My feet aren't wide, but my toes are, if that makes sense. My foots widest at the base of the big toe.

I'll give Puma a check.

Thanks! =]

This is what I found on 6pm.com

http://www.6pm.com/search/null/filter/zc1/%22Shoes%22/txAttrFacet_Gender/%22Men%22/zc2/%22Sneakers+%26+Athletic+Shoes%22/hc_men_size/%2215%22/sort/goliveRecentSalesStyle/desc/

I just searched athletic shoes. The size wasn't a problem at all. I'm guessing you could go with a cross trainer?

I never felt like K-Swiss Ariakes were all too special, but other traceurs swear by them...

Anyway, any running shoe works so long as it is comfortable. Personally I hit up the barefoot alternative and invest in vibram fivefingers (http://www.vibramfivefingers.com/index.htm) since they're awesome. Barefoot has notable advantages =D

I agree with going for something more minimalist thought I'm not a great fan of VFFs myself. My personal choice of shoe is the Terra Plana Neo (http://www.vivobarefoot.com/us/neo.html/) for general athletic activity. However, I recently invested in a pair of Merrell Trail Gloves (http://www.merrell.com/US/en-US/Product.mvc.aspx/22875M/50392/Mens/Barefoot-Trail-Glove/Black/J85525?dimensions=0) which are also very good.

I found a pair I like, that are intended for rock climbing, etc.

They'e not the greatest for parkour, but they give great grip, and durability, which is more along the lines of what I need, as the type or parkour me and my fiends are doing is a lot rougher, and is more on sand/dirt, and rough walls, etc.

I want the enforcer but it only goes to 14... =/

I'm getting the Camp Four. It's only 15 but it should last until I get my army boots. =P

I don't know about exceptionally large feet, but FiveFingers (http://www.vibramfivefingers.com/index.htm) are fantastic for parkour.

I should have read through the thread first. It was posted earlier.
