You awaken to the sounds of rumbling gears. The world blurs as you look around the room you are in. You are strapped to a table with thick metal bands. The devils who have been torturing you for what has felt like an eternity have left for another task leaving you in a dark room with two other creatures strapped down on their own tables.

Breathing a sigh, Amelia looks at her shackled hands and wishes she'd took the time to learn how to pick locks, then mentally slapped herself, wishing wasn't going to get her out of these restraints, action was, turning the chill power of her beast within she attempted to freeze the bands to the point where they'd shatter. She then uses what strength she has to break free from the restraints.

Grimacing at the lack of leverage she could make in her current position, Amelia digs deeper and channels more of her icy power into the metal, she knew it'd be easier if she could heat and chill the metal alternately, though it'd probably cause some severe burns, she didn't have the means to use fire based magics. She then gathers her strength for another attempt at breaking the iced metal, this time setting her body to give the most leverage she could to help break this thing.

Taking 10 on Str check, for a total of twelve, with it chilled the metal should be very brittle
If that doesn't workshe remains where she is and asks those tied down in the room, "Anyone have an idea to get out of these things? I'm having no luck on it." hopefully quiet enough that none of the devils likely on guard would hear.

You manage to break one of the manacles, however the other appears to be made of a stronger metal than the other was.

For several long moments after waking, the four-armed demon lays very still as his muscles tense and he focuses on the room. His eyes flick about behind heavy lids as he tries to look about without lifting his head. After he's fairly certain there isn't a guardian about he'll lift his head to double check for anyone in the room that isn't tied down and then try to slip free from his bonds. He'd rather not attempt teleportation just yet.

Escape Artist Check. He has four arms, so he's probably chained down a bit more extensively, so I don't know if you want multiple rolls or are just going to set the DC higher or what, but here we go:

Using her free arm, Amelia places her semi-clawed hand over the metal, knowing the ring on said hand held an enchantment to make her fists like adamantine, she set her hand to try to damage the already brittle metal.

Ring of Adamantine Touch should allow me to overcome the hardness of the metal unless it's adamantine too

Assuming his legs are free, he'll get off the damn slab as fast as he can after feeling the prick, or at the very least try to get as many body parts away from the slab as he can. Trying not to make sure that doesn't happen again, he'll try to get entirely free.

More escape artist. If its only one arm, then Improv for 8.

Drawing on the well of power within her... she blasts it out. An explosion of terrific flame and heat.

So! Spend 12pp, and Wild Surge for 3 more. That gives a level of fifteen.
[roll0] fire damage to everything within 40ft. I think it's halved against objects, but regardless. If anything alive is nearby, it gets a reflex save at DC 24 to halve the damage.
Also, I suffer Psionic Enervation if I roll a fifteen or less here.

"Kyaa!" Amelia shouts in surprise at the eruption of flames, ducking behind the table that had previously held her, so much for keeping it quiet.
If outside 40ftShe stands up, singed, and walks to the origin of the of the conflagration quietly.
If in the blast radiusAmelia finds herself overwhelmed by the heat and falls unconcious (-8 hp, really not helping if you almost to kill us Lix)

damage. Fire. In addition, against a living target, they have to make a Strength Check, DC 24, or be pushed 5ft+5ft per 5 damage. NO idea how you can translate that into how much am I pushing away from the table...
Worst case scenario, I probably melted the table. :smallbiggrin:

Getting up after the small explosion Amelia rushes over to the girl that was at its epicenter, and possibly its cause. "You alright?" she asks worriedly, she likes children and seeing one hurt is something that wrenches at her heart.

With a flick of the wrists on the arms on one side of his body, his bare chest is covered in a fine chain while two bows spring into being in his hands and a small buckler appears among his tangle of limbs. Almost as if expecting combat, the scrap of cloth he has with him gains better definition and two fletched arrows appear ready to be drawn.

He'll put them away again if need be (ring is a two way street), but prison break, so....

If I need to be NPCed, (assuming he's got the periapt of wisdom on) he's got +21/+16 to hit, and can do so on two bows at once at a -2 to all, and has Rapid shot. He can also Power Attack with bows up to a -8 for +8

His bows each deal 2d8+10 (+1 weapon, 5 Str, 5 Wis) and ignore incorporeal
