Pathfinder Familiars.

So i'm in the process of making yet another character, a sorcerer this time. And I’ve noticed the only time Familiars come up in the handbook is when listing Wizard spell schools. Are Familiars in pathfinder only available for wizards? If so is it only as a chosen spell school?

Familiars in PF are available to Sorcerers only if they are of the Arcane bloodline.
