I'm looking for a film/live action television show that I saw a clip of years ago. It had an odd teenage guy in high school that was secretly a robot (you knew he was a robot because there were scenes from his viewpoint with a HUD). Apparently, the class was on a field trip or something, and the bus apparently left without him, leaving him at the rest stop. I think he then ran and caught up with the bus, but I'm not sure. I saw this probably sometime in the mid- to late-nineties, so I'm probably misremembering something.

Is it Not Quite Human (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Not_Quite_Human_(film)) I've never seen it, and the time period is wrong, but it's one of the first things that came up when I tried to find something along the lines of what you were talking about.

Could be that one. I read the plot, and it's part of the series. Perhaps he didn't see the first one, but the second one. That's from the 90's, and he may very well have seen it on TV, in which case, it makes sense it was a few years later than it was made.

You're thinking of Ned'sDeclassified School Survival Guide (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ned's_Declassified_School_Survival_Guide). It's a show that was(/is?) on Nickelodeon. The normal plot is 3 friends, Ned (average middle schooler), Moze (tomboyish athletic girl), and Cookie (nerd) having misadventures together. It's actually closer to early turn-of-the-millenium.

What you saw was Cookie, who has a computer monitor built into his glasses. He operates it with a weird trackball that he keeps in his pocket. I in fact remember the episode you refer to. It was okay. (Actually, I only ever saw it once, this past December, while channel-flipping, so it's kind of odd that I remember it).

I second DeadManSleeping. I actually thought of Ned's Declassified after I posted my original post, but I had to run. Glad someone else was thinking the same thing.

Can't be Ned's Declassified. That didn't exist in the 90's.

It might be Not Quite Human. I'll have to check that out.

Hi,

You might be thinking of an OLD movie:
D.A.R.Y.L. ("Data-Analysing Robot Youth Lifeform") (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088979/). Wiki (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/D.A.R.Y.L.)

It contains everything you described and the dates match.

Just my 2c.

Edit: Even tough the IMDB pictures are B/W the movie is in color, we had color in 1985... :smalltongue:
