Does anybody know if (good) rules for a Lasso/Lariat were ever printed anywhere (by a Homebrewer or in an official publication)?

You can find the Lasso in the Book of Exalted Deeds, on page 34

BoED lassos seem to be solid enough as an option between tripping and entangling.

Why would lassos be in BoED? I mean, there's nothing wrong with lassos or anything, but I don't see how they are any more good than any other weapon, either. :smallconfused:

Non-lethal disabling weapon is the reason behind it, I'd assume.

mhm, have truncheons for 1-handed version of the sap and a mancatcher grappling reach weapon and another reach weapon that can grapple or do non-lethal.

They were meant to be in the BoEF and the acronyms got mixed up.

The BoED eh? Not a book I intend of getting, but my friends dad has it. I guess I could just copy it out of there sometime (or try to homebrew something).

Personally, I think it's in BoED for players who want to be Wonder Woman.
But seriously. That book has some really random stuff in it.
