Spell for Creating a half Fiend

As the title says, I remember there being such a spell somewhere but I cannot for the life of me remember where and my google-fu hasn't brought it to light.
Specifically it applied the Half-Fiend Template permanently as I recall and I think it was a 7th or 8th level Sor/Wiz spell

there's one that applies the fiendish template to an existing undead. Vile Death. It's in Heroes of Horror. Sorc/Wiz/Cleric 9 or Dread necro 7. Different animal alltogether than adding Half-fiend.

For some of the Sanctified spells from BoED, yes. If you haven't abstained from the specified activity or substance for a certain period of time then you can't cast the spell.
